At br Wellington we recognise the need to give back to the community, so in line with our values in 2009 we established “Give me 5” in order to give back and make a difference out there. We support the community through the following fundraising activities:
The intention of 'Give me 5' is to raise money for the Royal Children's Hospital and the amazing work they do not only for Victorian children but children around Australia and the world. It is all about helping those who are our smallest and most vulnerable.
The money raised is used by The Royal Children's Hospital to purchase medical equipment and to fund research.

Since inception we have raised $342,246. br Wellington would like to acknowledge the support of our 'Give Me 5' Members.
br Wellington is a very proud supporter of the Australian Food Allergy Foundation.
This foundation was founded by John and Patricia Ilhan in 2006 after their young daughter suffered an anaphylactic reaction and was subsequently diagnosed with anaphylaxis to tree nuts.
In November 2009 br Wellington was a Silver Sponsor for the Ilhan Charity Challenge Golf Day in Marysville. The day not only raised funds for the Foundation but gave some of our staff the opportunity to meet champion golfers Geoff Ogilvy, Adam Scott and Stuart Appleby. br Wellington continue to support the Australian Food Allergy Foundation by sponsoring the annual Ladies Lunch and Tribute Gala Dinner.
Make A Wish Foundation was set up to grant the Wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions and therefore to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
As part of out community involvement the staff of br Wellington willingly gave of their time to collect donations for this wonderful charity.
The br Wellington Accounting scholarship is an initiative in collaboration with Swinburne University. It is offered to "worthy and needy" students studying Accounting & Finance for a two year period.
The scholarship funds are used to assist students in need with the cost of enrolment fees, computers and/or books. Recipients of our Scholarship also have the opportunity to obtain paid work experience with br Wellington, which is seen as the most valuable component of our Scholarship offering.
We are proud of our involvement with Swinburne University and giving back to those in need.
