We know that to achieve business excellence we must create an organisation that builds excellent businesses. While it is true that this means having great systems and cutting-edge technology, above all we need great people to make it happen. So first and foremost we hire people who have the right attitude, and then we help them to enlarge and develop their skill base. We aim to keep our staff for a long time, and also ensure that they develop excellent levels of employability.
Sitting back and waiting for good performance only allows a few champions to develop, rather than building a team of champions. So we work with our team to set career and performance goals, and then we support, coach and do whatever else it takes to help them achieve these goals.
Having said that, we don’t take ourselves too seriously and we also find time to have a lot of fun! |
